Hello LinkedIn community! As some of you may know, I have recented rejoined the Canadian Tire family to become an Associate Dealer. I am currently in training (not cycling as much, so this should be interesting), I look forward to join a great group of peers and to support the amazing initiatives that this company undertakes. Jumpstart has always impressed me by the impact it has in communities across Canada and the support it offers for kids to have a chance to participate in sports activities. I am asking for your support as I prepare to ride in Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities' Pedal for Kids event in June. Jumpstart’s tireless efforts bring joy, inspiration, and hope to children and communities nationwide. Here's how you can help: 1. Donate: Any amount, big or small, will go a long way in helping Jumpstart provide opportunities for kids who may not otherwise have access to them. Your contribution will directly impact their lives and bring smiles to their faces. Please visit my fundraising page here: https://lnkd.in/gW8Xy3vh 2. Share the word: Even if you're unable to contribute financially at the moment, your support can still make a difference. 3. Join us: If you're interested and available, consider coming out for a ride and we can raise funds that will make a lasting impact on children's lives. I understand that times are tough, and many families are facing financial difficulties due to current economic headwinds. However, it is precisely during these times that Jumpstart's work becomes even more crucial. If you have any questions or would like more information about Jumpstart or the Pedal for Kids event, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you so much for considering my request and for your ongoing support.

Would you help this small group of Gainesville student-athletes that have earned a unique opportunity to compete at an elite level? I'll make it worth your while and here's how: 😎 Imagine an event like the Tour de France or the World Cup… that is what the Head of Charles is to the world of rowing. Held each year in Boston, it’s the largest and most prestigious 5k regatta in the world featuring over 11,000 athletes and over 2,000 boats. This year, Gainesville Area Rowing (GAR) has been selected to send both a men's and a women’s high school team to compete. This is an incredible honor for these young athletes, and you can help make this once-in-a-lifetime dream come true for them. GAR is a community-funded organization - without donations from local businesses and families we’re “dead in the water”. Your generous donations will help them cover: - Airfare - Boat transportation (Boston is a looong haul) - Hotel fees - Registration and other costs Every dollar you donate will go directly to supporting these hard-working athletes. What's in it for your business: * For any donations of $100 (or more): I'll personally perform a "channel audit" and review your: - social media channels - email marketing - website I GUARANTEE to deliver at least 3 actional insights that you or your team can put to use immediately. We'll mention your brand and support on the G.A.R. social channels * For donations less than $100: We'll be sure to mention your brand and your support on the G.A.R. social media channels PLEASE help share this post and spread the word... these kids have GRINDED and now have an incredible opportunity. Let's make it happen!

The Jane-A-Thon Annual Ski and Snowboarding #fundraiser began 25 years ago by a few #visionaryleaders of our board to ensure every #Colorado child has a strong start in life! Today, we accomplish this by adopting, implementing, and successfully scaling #provenprograms that have the greatest long-term impact on young children and families #experiencingpoverty. How do we make this happen? Our amazing team of experts ensures the #support, #resources, #qualitymeasurement, and #qualityimprovement mechanisms are in place for the following programs: Nurse Family Partnership The Incredible Years Child First Twenty-five years ago, in 1999, this event raised $10,000 to support advocacy efforts that would improve the #healthandwellbeing of Colorado’s youngest children and their families. Last year, we raised $445,000 to support our rapidly growing #mission. During this 25th year #anniversary, please consider supporting our #intervention and #prevention proven program offerings with Colorado children and families at the center! Details below! Charity golf day – Money Board - $1000 up for grabs. Hi All, Intending to try and exceed the amount of money raised for our charity to last year, we are trying some different things. One of those things is a money board. Typically done in person, but we thought would try to do it, or at least start it online. Doing so will provide an opportunity for our event supporters who can’t make it to the golf day to still support it. 💲1000 up for grabs for the winner and 💲1000 💵💵💵💵 raised for our charity, The Mens Shed Townsville. How good is that!! Early Bird Sales: ▶ interested in purchasing numbers for the money board can contact Tony via email ([email protected]) or phone (0439361610). ▶ Numbers will be tentatively allocated upon initial inquiry, with payment pending. ▶ If payment is not received within 48 hours, the allocated number(s) will become available again. ▶ Remaining numbers will be sold on the golf day itself. Drawing and Prize Presentation: ▶ The plan is to draw the money board after the golf day during the prize presentations. ▶ If there are still a significant number of tickets outstanding by that time, the draw may be deferred until all tickets are sold. Communication: ▶ While doing this remotely can introduce some challenges we will aim to negate this by providing updates regularly as to the progress of the sales and post photos showing available numbers. If there are any questions or concerns please call Tony at any time.

It's nearing year's end and while most of us have probably already sent our donations off to our favorite organizations, I am asking you to consider donating to Regatta Point before the New Year. Why Regatta Point you ask? In 1963, Regatta Point Community Sailing Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation, was founded to teach kids 12 and up to sail. Since inception, the organization has worked through donations, grants, and fundraisers to ensure that they have never turned away a child who wanted to learn. Removing economic barriers ensures that boating and sailing is accessible to all which is one of many reasons I love the program. In addition to sailing, Regatta Point is the non-profit behind Lake Quinsigamond Community Rowing (LQCR) Club which is where my two eldest have rowed for two years. I am hopeful that my youngest will join the team next year when he's finally eligible. It'll be a great way for him to condition for the Rugby season. LQCR is a regional team comprised of kids from all over Worcester County. Rowing has been a godsend for both of my kids who have found their niche. Their coaches are amazing and they've worked hard enough to win every single race they entered last season. Put plainly, they worked hard and it paid off. They're currently in the midst of winter conditioning in prep for Spring's spring season. Let's go, LQCR! Back to the purpose of this post, by supporting this organization with your tax deductible donations, we can ensure that even more children have the opportunity to take part in these amazing sports and that the teams can easily maintain and purchase the equipment needed to keep up with private schools and wealthier public schools with endowments and bigger budgets than our non-profit regional program. I've listed the ways your donation can help the programs below. Even $10 can make a huge impact in a scholarship kids' experience. In closing, 100% of your donations are allocated directly to Regatta Point programs without any administrative deductions, and all contributions are tax-deductible. You can donate at the link below or mail a check to PO Box 4008, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 and I hope that you will! https://lnkd.in/gyGJV44b How Your Donation Makes a Difference: $30,000 - 4x Crew Shell $15,000 - 2x Crew Shell $10,000 - New Hunter 15 Sailboat $8,500 - New Jon Boat Safety Launch $9,500 - Racing 420 Sailboat $6,700 - 30 HP Rescue Launch Engine $5,500 - Universal Access Paddleboat $4,500 - Opti Pram: think 7-year-old sailor $1,099 - Sponsor a Child on The Crew Team $750 - Tandem Kayak $495 - Sponsor a Child for a Week of Camp $300 - 3 Kids Attend for a Day $100 - Splicing & Whipping Supplies $50 - SUP Paddle $25 - Kayak Paddle $10 - Ice Cream for 2 kids on Scholarship

🧩✨ #AutismAwareness Top 36 Golf Course Rankings: Post 20 - Course #17⛳️ 🧩 💰 DONATE - Please help us get there by donating $36 today: https://lnkd.in/e4MFcQfd To represent the 1 in 36 kids affected by Autism in the US, I will be counting down my Top 36 Golf Courses that I have ever played with a short story/memory for each. If you could please consider donating $36 (or more) to Els for Autism via the link above, I would appreciate it ❤️ Golf Course #17 - Ohoopee Match Club As we make our way to course #17, we go to play one of the newest golf courses on my list, Ohoopee Match Club. Opening in 2018, Ohoopee is found in the rural town of Cobbtown, GA and was designed by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner. It is owned by successful businessman and golf enthusiast, Michael Walrath, who at age 32 sold his company, Right Media, to Yahoo. Often recognized by its unique “onion” logo, the land on which the course sits used to be a successful onion farm. This type of soil and dunes lends itself to be the perfect turf for excellent golf course conditions, often playing firm and fast to challenge the golfer’s creativity. The word that comes to mind when thinking about the Ohoopee experience is FUN - the lodging, food, service, caddies, and course are amazing and create a memorable weekend. One of the most unique things about Ohoopee is that the course has 22 holes in total with two different 18-hole routings, the championship routing and the whiskey routing, which enables you to have a totally different round while playing on the same property. One other unique aspect that caught me off guard is there are no tee markers. This is by design as the course is meant to be played with Match Play, allowing the golfer with honors to choose how he/she wants the hole to be played. I was amazed by Ohoopee and “the hang” it creates, which has proven to be the successful modern course model that many other courses now are trying to immulate. If you go to play Ohoopee soon, I have no doubt that you will have an amazing time ⛳️
