Registered Psychotherapist, Emotional, Mental Wellness and DEIB Training, OAMHP (Cert), President of the Board of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto
I have created this program that supports leaders who want to have embodied conversations about about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging AND create the psychological safety necessary for everyone to show up as their full selves. Imagine being able to create spaces where people can bring their full creativity, ingenuity and diverse thinking to the table! As a leader, doing the internal work allows you to expand as you learn more about you and allows other to expand because you have created the foundation for growth and expansion. The Comfortable Race Conversation Process is a 7 week program where you will receive: ✅ 6 Modules of pre-re corded videos with supplementary materials and homework. The first module drops to participants on September 22, 2023. ✅ Six live 90 minute practice circles facilitated by myself. These practice circles are where participants learn experientially about what happens to us psychologically, somatically and relationally in conversations about race. The first Practice Circle meets weekly, from 9:30am-11:00am starting September 29th, 2023. ✅ The transformational tools to inquire within and increase your awareness of what happens within you while having difficult conversations about race AND experience in real time how to make a choice about how you want to show up. ✅ Develop an embodied relationship to the concept of race with the ability show up in a relational way and engage with difference with presence instead of the fear that the conversation will go in the wrong direction. ✅ A psychologically safe space where all emotions are welcome so each participant can do their own work and create their own relationship to race apart from the social loadings of structural racism. Click here to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gaixcaJ4 Leadership starts within. You to know where you are starting from so you can have a clear vision of where you want to go. Embody the change you want to see in the world. I am looking forward to the conversation. ❤️
Here’s what you do… Keep having conversations! All participants will receive a certificate of completion, and those that are Mental Health Professionals/Providers, can apply 15 hours to their required continuing education hours through the Ontario Association of Mental Health Practitioners! The best part isn’t the certificates and credits though, it’s the confidence. It’s the clarity and where you stand in the conversations about racism. It’s the new level of understanding others, and being able to communicate with people better. Module 1 of The Comfortable Race Conversation Process drops tomorrow…Friday September 22nd, so if you’re ready to learn about racism in a way that you’ve never explored before, click the link in my bio! #antiracismeducation #dothework #diversityandinclusion
