🚀 CharIN at Power2Drive in Munich! 🚀 We had an incredible time at the Power2Drive fair in Munich, where CharIN proudly showcased at our booth and actively participated in the Power2Drive Conference. 🎤 Our very own Christoph Stuermer, Director of Trainings/Consulting/New Business at CharIN Academy, hosted an insightful panel on "Interoperability through Conformance Testing." ➡ CharIN North America Submits Recommendations for ISO 15118 Ready Chargers to the California Energy Commission CharIN North America’s Policy Committee developed responses to the California Energy Commission’s Docket No. 22-EVI-06, Updated Recommendation on ISO 15118 Ready Chargers from February 2024. As a strong supporter of open standards, CharIN appreciates the leadership the CEC has shown in promoting and evaluating the adoption of standards in chargers funded by California state grants. These requirements currently include a requirement that charger be “ISO 15118 Ready”. The Updated Recommendation provides a detailed definition of ISO 15118 Ready that includes six elements. CharIN appreciates the specificity of the definition but identified a few areas that required additional considerations including the use of Transport Layer Security versions. CharIN also provided comments on the use of conformance testing, ISO 15118-20 Ready and ISO 15118-20 Light considerations, powerline communication chipset updates, and the availability of open source software stacks. 📃 Read the Position Support Letter here: https://lnkd.in/ebARN3mc Erika H. Stats & Facts CharIN Conference & Testival EUROPE Poland 2024: × Over 470 attendees at the CharIN Conference & CharIN Testival: × The biggest CharIN Conference & Testival in history so far. × Over 270 attendees of the CharIN Conference × Over 200 attendees of the CharIN Testival × 34 highly renowned electric mobility speakers and panelists at the CharIN Conference × 30 different testing electric mobility companies at the CharIN Testival × 10 Test slots, 2 of them with dynamic pairing option – where participating companies could choose test partners. × 6 electric trucks, 9 electric cars, 14 charging stations, 4 test systems: 6 electric trucks, the highest number of heavy-duty vehicles we ever had at a Testival.
