Ordering wine? Know your customer rights! Getting wine in a restaurant can feel daunting, especially for beginners. Here are 3 important customer rights to remember when ordering wine.
 1️⃣ Ask questions about the wine: Whether you're curious about the grape variety or need a food pairing suggestion, the staff is there to assist you. 2️⃣ Expect wine in excellent condition: You should receive wine that's not only the right bottle but also in perfect condition. If the wine doesn't meet your expectations, don't hesitate to speak up. 
3️⃣Receive wine at ideal temperature: The temperature of your wine matters. Red, white, or sparkling, they all have their sweet spot. Here's what makes you look like a tacky host: 1️⃣Taking too long to serve guests their first drink 2️⃣Serving different wines to different guests and saving the good stuff for your closest buddies 3️⃣Saying you have no more alcohol to serve Follow these tips to become a fantastic wine party host Chill your wines and prep your glasses in advance so that you can get the party started quickly and your guests don't have to wait for their first drink. Make sure you serve the same wine to everyone. If your guests are new to wine, go for easy-drinking, popular styles like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Always stock more alcohol than you think you need. You'll be surprised how quickly you can run out of wine at a party. A 750 ml bottle of wine should ideally serve five standard servings of wine (150 ml)- use this math to stock up for your party.
