Officially 5 years with Perficient today... which still makes me one of the "young ones" on my projects if you can believe it. I joined our Colorado unit after a 3 year game of employment phone tag with Tricia Forrest (you're still the best Trish!) and a few months before Covid hit and changed our working world. What a ride that was. Perficient was on the short list of firms I wanted to interview with, having competed against them in a previous life and having heard positive testimonials from clients and consultants alike. Those 2 things really matter when you are new to a market and building your network. Overall my time with Perficient has been great. One of the best things about this company is that I can pick up the phone (or ping on Teams now) and there is a person who will help me get what I need. It doesn't matter if it's a Consultant, Architect, Principal, Managing Director or a VP/SVP, the response is "what can I help you with?" or "what do you need?" or "how can we make this happen?" This probably sounds like it should be a standard in any organization or company, it's not. My favorite thing about Perficient is our consultants. We hire good people who care about doing a good job. I'll be the first to tell you that I am not the person who actually gets things done for our clients. Consulting can be really tough. The hours are long, the expectations are very high and there isn't much space for nuanced conversations when you're getting paid to do something. We often walk into messes that took years to create and we need to fix them in 6-12 weeks. Our consultants are the ones doing the heavy lifting and exceeding those expectations. I wish you could see the time these people spend worrying about your work and wanting to make sure you look good to your organization. This might also be my PSA to thank your favorite consultant, they are people too. So cheers to 5 years, and cheers to a few more! We have some exciting times ahead with our acquisition and hopefully lots more growth. A very big thank you to my coworkers both past and present who allow me to look good in front of our clients, and who give me the confidence to know we can do great things! There are too many to list but you know I'm going to call you real soon, more than likely today, for that one thing we need to get done...

Hi Philip, what do you do at Rosenxt? I'm a Software Developer in our Business Software department. My main focus is on providing solutions to streamline our everyday work processes. Alongside a colleague, I also handle the smooth operation of Workday (HCM). Additionally, I pitch in with support for our established apps and assist with onboarding new users. What do you like best about your job? What are the biggest challenges? I really enjoy crafting custom solutions and exploring different problem-solving approaches. Helping people and sharing knowledge about solutions is incredibly rewarding for me. However, some of the biggest challenges arise when faced with problems that don't have obvious solutions. It can be tough, but when we do find a solution, it's incredibly satisfying to implement it. How do you spend your free time? I like hitting the gym with my best buddies or indulging in some nerdy activities like playing Pen & Paper (Dungeons & Dragons) or Magic: The Gathering – a fantastic Trading Card Game. Board games are also a favorite pastime. And of course, spending quality time with friends and family is always a priority for me.
