⚡️We’re focusing a lot right now on how electric vehicles can support the UK’s power grid. Whether you’re a local authority or a business at the start of your EV journey or you have already got a charging network, it’s important we all give it some thought. The bottom line is that it’s all about thinking smart. EVs aren’t about burdening the grid with excessive demand as millions of vehicles charge simultaneously. What’s important is how we manage grid capacity. Thinking smart means being able to schedule a charge in off-peak periods or when there’s a surplus of renewables on the grid. 🌲 Dive in to our blog on the role of EVs in balancing the grid and speak to our team about how our chargers could help your organisation reduce the strain on the power system – as well as offer cheaper charging for drivers.
