I help scaling brands build and monetize their online presence with strategic Digital Marketing | Social Media Manager Instagram Strategist | Host of The Stop Scrolling, Start Scaling Podcast
When your Reels aren't working anymore, what do you do? Well, we 6x'd this clients Reach in just 3 months. Our team is always going the extra mile to find new strategies that work with an ever changing algorithm - because as a Founder, you don't have time to do so. For this Client account in particular, their Reach had been steadily declining. By making 1 small but significant change to the way we were selecting the audio files to put on their Reels, we were able to skyrocket their Reach. We do so much more than "just create content" for our clients. We are true partners. Partners that proactively bring new ideas to the table, and implement them to create major results. You don't need to hire another Intern to manage your social media. You need to work with a team of seasoned pros. We have 2 spots open to start this Summer. Inquire here - https://lnkd.in/dPtrnWEy?

I am very grateful for the opportunity I had this last summer to intern for Big Red Jelly. A want to dedicate a special shoutout to my mentors Christina Romano and Josh Webber. I had so many opportunities to learn from them, especially how to refine my marketing skills. One of my favorite projects I worked on this summer is blog called: 3 Types of Social Media Content Every Business Should Be Posting If you are looking for new ways to inspire and create your social media strategy, check out this blog! https://lnkd.in/g_HrmTAi

Here’s what they don’t tell you about starting a placement year ❌ Today marks one month as a Marketing Intern at LOOKFANTASTIC.COM Before starting, I was repeatedly told these 3 things: - It’s fast-paced - You’ll be given responsibilities from day 1 - ‘There’s no such thing as a silly question’ While all these things are true, here are some things I wasn’t told before (but have come as a very nice bonus): 💄I’ll attend immersive brand visits from big beauty brands, including Isle of Paradise, Glow Hub and Kylie Cosmetics. 📦 I’ll meet teams across the business from manufacturing to employer branding to understand the wider picture. 📱 I’ll make some fun cameo appearances on LOOKFANTASTIC’s Instagram. 📖 I’ll steadily transform into a walking thesaurus and dictionary (I work on the content team to clarify). 🙋🏼♀️ I’ll become friends with 9 other lovely interns, making the move to Manchester a lot less scary. 🗣️ I’ll be given access to free professional development coaching and L&D workshops. 🎄 I’ll be getting involved in Christmas projects before August even finishes. The point being, you won’t know what to expect until you start your placement. The key is to get stuck in, make the most of opportunities and take each day as it comes. I’m loving my time here so far and can already see the benefits of undertaking a year in industry.

Founder, The PR Habitat | Public Relations & Gen Z Lab Ambassador @ Edelman | B2B Comms Brand Strategy | 2024 BTPRS PR Pros Rising to the Top
1 year, 2 agencies, and countless timesheets later. I’m celebrating the one-year mark today! 2023: Started as a Post-Graduate PR Intern 2024: In an AAE role in the brand department My grasp of #PR has evolved so much since I started. Who knew I’d be touching account management, influencer relations, traditional media, and event planning? As a Black man in PR, it’s meant being on the front lines of industry change. I‘ve never let a job title dictate my impact and you shouldn’t either - intern to VP. Here are my favorite moments of 2024 so far: • Consulting for brands like Homegoods and f'real for how to cater upcoming campaigns to Gen Z • Receiving the PR Pro Rising To The Top award from the Black Tech Public Relations Society • Hosting my first-ever audio event for The PR Habitat • Reading Brooke Govert’s letter of rec for the ADCOLOR Conference and Awards Futures program 🥲 I leave this advice for the next batch of PR interns. Make noise when it comes to your passions, goals, and dreams 🗣️ p.s. for the vets, what’s something embarrassing you did your first year lol? #publicrelations #earlycareer #internshiptips

From pricing strategy to 'Bend and Snap' churros, this internship had it all. 🌟 Sofia Menyalkin '25 🎭 Management Intern at Prescott Park Arts Festival 📍 Portsmouth, NH 📚 Analytical Economics I helped run the show at a nonprofit arts festival this summer! Prescott Park Arts Festival is all about making music and arts more inclusive and accessible to the general public. My main job was directing the whole team at "The Prop", which served all kinds of food to festival patrons. It was definitely a crash course in management - keeping everyone on track, handling the rush of orders, and making sure our customers left happy. And the Prop isn't just a food stand - it's the main revenue driver for the festival. Talk about real-world impact! My UNH classes definitely prepared me for this mix of Excel spreadsheets and people: 🏷️ Creating pricing strategies (thanks, Econ 401!) 🧾 Analyzing sales data 👆Managing day-to-day operations 💕 Providing great customer service! I loved the autonomy. I had a lot of control over how we did things. And seeing how that played out sales-wise was really interesting. And yes, I got to invent the "Bend and Snap" churro sticks for Legally Blonde! Who says economics majors can't be creative? 🎬 I also learned a lot about juggling priorities – you needed both people skills and business background for a job like this. I really enjoyed applying classroom theories to real business decisions every day, but my biggest takeaway was that I love their cause. This internship showed me I can blend analytics with purpose-driven work. Living in Portsmouth for the summer was also amazing. I discovered a whole new side of the Seacoast. And wildcat transit made the commute super easy. The festival is already looking for an intern for next summer, so let me plug them real quick: If you want something that's close to campus, fun, AND great experience, you should reach out! You'll gain real-world experience while supporting local arts. What could be better? Honestly, I never expected to love working at a nonprofit arts festival this much. But between the analytics, the creativity, and the awesome community impact, I had a blast.

Digital Media Intern at Columbus Regional Airport Authority | Studio Art Major with a Minor in Communication Technology at The Ohio State University
Not too long ago, I wrapped up my spring internship as a Creative Media Intern with MediaNug. During my time this semester, I had the privilege of being submersed in the fast-paced environment of the media industry, working with both the Entertainment and the Content Teams from development to delivery. Creating mood boards with examples of color-grading, music, imagery, and thematic principles helped give inspiration to build out decks. These decks were utilized in pitching to potential clients for future movie promotions and ads used across various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube, and Meta. I learned the ins and outs of sourcing and outreach, specifically in the context of gaining permission to use a creator’s content in MediaNug’s Snapchat shows. I’d like to give many thanks to Christopher Heiman for his guidance and mentorship, the opportunity to join the team, and his insistence I get involved with as many different processes in the organization as possible. I’d also like to thank Brendan Bodi and Alex Hausman for welcoming me with open arms and offering every opportunity to learn new things about this multi-faceted industry. Bringing on a remote intern with classes and a time change to work around requires flexibility, adaptability, and quite a bit of extra effort. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation enough for this team, their efforts, and pushing me to grow as a professional. Looking forward to applying all that I’ve learned in my future roles and excited for what lies ahead! #ProfessionalDevelopment #CareerGrowth #IndustryInsights #FutureLeaders #WorkplaceCulture #SkillsDevelopment #TeamCollaboration #NextSteps #GratefulForOpportunities

One of my college internships was at a great, local marketing agency called Brandrenew - Indianapolis. My friend and Brandrenew Founder, Cris Dorman used to listen to Christmas music in July. The first time I heard it I thought I was hallucinating. Turns out it was a super important marketing lesson. Even though it was 90°F (and probably 100% humidity) outside, Cris was already thinking about winter campaigns. The best marketers operate weeks, months, maybe even quarters in the future. For those of you putting the finishing touches on your Mother's Day promotions, here's some spend data from 15,000 B2C messaging campaigns. 🌷 Early Bloomers: The first Mother's Day campaigns take flight in early-mid April. 📈 Flower Surge: By the end of April, campaign volume will increase 3x. ⛰️ You're peaking, darling: The high point of activity is 7-14 days BEFORE the holiday, however the week of trails by only a couple percentage points PS: If you aren't in marketing but made it this far then take this as an early reminder that Mother's Day is May 12 this year.....
