🔧Following a significant setback in January, the Army Corps of Engineers turned to us for our specialized skills to repair the #Demopolis Lock and Dam. This project was not without its challenges, particularly the need to maintain temperatures below 70°F for the underwater pour of self-consolidating concrete to succeed. 💪 We're proud to work alongside Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France in the construction of the only permanent venue for this summer's sports competitions, the Olympic Aquatic Center and the pedestrian bridge at Saint-Denis. To overcome unique challenges such as chlorine resistance and weather adaptation, we supplied our customized high-performance concrete with recycled aggregates and #Vertua's lower-carbon concrete.
