Acute kidney injury affects 20-40% of patients after cardiac surgery, leading to increased morbidity and higher mortality rates. The maytansine scaffold has been used to generate #ADCs which are at different stages of clinical trials, including an ADC that has been approved by the FDA. In our recent poster with Regeneron, we share how our close collaboration enabled us to successfully deliver a new series of maytansine-based cytotoxic payloads for ADCs that displayed in vivo activity in the Ovcar3 tumor model.
