Enjoying Your Business So Much it Makes Your Bits Tingle? No? As the founder of Business Enjoyment, we probably ought to talk.
My mission is to change the way that success is measured in business. To make it about something much more than just money. In fact, I believe that enjoyment should be the ultimate measure of success, which contains a balance of security and self-satisfaction along with an awareness that a difference is being made. In fact, the cornerstone of Business Enjoyment is around finding your Purpose. From there we can build a business that makes a difference in the world that is important to us and leave a meaningful legacy for generations to come. Over the years I've discovered that, in general, there is a different approach to uncovering purpose and leaving a legacy depending on whether or not you have children. Neither way is more right or wrong than the other, just different. As a child-free entrepreneur, I had to do a lot of work to uncover my Purpose and work out what legacy I could leave. And I wanted to share what I learned with those in a similar position. And that is why I am running the upcoming masterclass for child-free entrepreneurs entitled 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 – to give other people like me the opportunity to uncover what they can do too. I can't change societal culture by myself, so the more people who can see the importance of uncovering their true purpose and crafting their businesses into something that can leave a meaningful legacy – the greater the chance I have of creating mine. If any of this resonates with and would like more information, click here https://lnkd.in/etwkWNeD #legacy #purpose #missionsthatmatter #childfree

Host of The American Dreams Show - Keys to Life Success | Family Office Advisor | CEO of GROCO CPA's & Family Office | Author of "MY PATH - Living the life you deserve" | Tax Strategist |
As we go through life, the idea of leaving a legacy really hits home for a lot of us. Building a legacy is not just about wealth, but also about passing on values, wisdom, and opportunities to future generations. Creating something of lasting value that supports the next generation is what building a legacy is all about! It's about laying a foundation on which they can build their dreams, achieve their goals, and continue the cycle of giving back. As a family man, entrepreneur, and mentor, I've learned how crucial it is to leave behind a legacy that's about more than money—it's about good character, strong faith, and family values. These are the true treasures that we can leave behind, the ones that will feed into the next generation. Let's be intentional about the legacies we're building. Let it be something that not only provides for our children but also teaches them the value of hard work, the importance of faith, and the strength found in family and friends. #legacybuilding #familyvalues #entrepreneurship

Collaborating with Housing, Pre-Employment and Band Council members to combat the challenges of Indigenous housing | Mold awareness, testing, and remediation training | FOUNDER, CEO AND TRAINER at got mold?™
Entrepreneurship often leads to tough decisions, especially when it comes to involving family or borrowing money from them. While it can seem like the only option at the time, I've learned from personal experience that mixing business with family dynamics can be risky. My sister and brother-in-law once bailed me out. It seemed like a lifeline, but it created complexities and expectations that strained our relationship for 5 years. If you find yourself in a bind, seek alternatives and avoid financial entanglements with family if possible. Relying on family isn't sustainable and finding a solid mentor and building a support network outside of family ties will help you maintain your financial independence and your relationships. In hindsight, I'm grateful for the support I received, but if I were to give you advice, I'd tell you that family support is valuable emotionally, but financial autonomy and mentorship can pave a much smoother road to success. If you could go back and advise your younger self about entrepreneurship and family dynamics, what would you say? PS: Thank you to my sister, Joy Quiring, for keeping the dream alive with the much needed assistance over the years as we went through unforeseen struggles in business. #Entrepreneurship #EntrepreneurRoadToSuccess #EntrepreneurialTip

Fatherhood is a profound journey, and guess what? It's full of valuable lessons that can be seamlessly applied to business. Here are some pearls of wisdom: 1. Patience: Just as with kids, building a business takes time. Embrace the journey. 2. Communication: Listening is key to understanding both your children and your customers. 3. Adaptability: Kids are unpredictable, and so is the business world. Flexibility is your ally. 4. Resilience: Handling toddler tantrums? That's resilience training right there! 5. Empathy: Understanding your child's needs helps you understand your market's desires. 6. Learning: Children are inquisitive; adopt that curiosity in your business approach. 7. Prioritization: Family first, remember? It applies to your business priorities too. So, while navigating the exciting world of entrepreneurship, never underestimate the lessons fatherhood teaches. They can be your secret sauce for success! #FatherhoodLessons #BusinessWisdom #Entrepreneurship #FamilyFirst #AdaptAndGrow
