The quality of our family relationships and social structures are a cornerstone of partnership systems. Partnership- or domination-oriented families are a template for politics, economics, and other social institutions. Findings from psychology and neuroscience show that the degree of Partnership or domination in our foundational human relations between women and men, and between parents and children directly affects how our brains develop. Partnership parenting encourages caring family relations that respect and empower children. In Partnership Systems, high quality childcare and caregiver training, good healthcare and multicultural, gender-balanced education is valued economically. Young people learn to respect themselves, others, and the environment and co-create a healthy future. Early childhood intervention Early childhood intervention (ECI) is a system of assistance and instruction for infants and toddlers (ages 0 to 6) who have experienced or are at high risk of experiencing child abuse, neglect, or both, as well as children who have developmental delays or impairments. Early Childhood Intervention is not only for kids with these difficulties; certain states and areas have chosen to concentrate these services on kids with developmental delays or disabilities. The goal of early childhood intervention is to ensure that families with at-risk children in this age group have access to the resources and supports they need to maximize their child's physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The possibility of both short-term and long-term benefits increasing the earlier assistance is provided to children with impairments and children at high risk of abuse or neglect. Early intervention has immediate advantages such as improved health and nutrition, greater learning and academic performance, preparedness for primary school, and a safer and more nurturing home environment. As kids develop into teenagers and young adults, early intervention has long-term advantages such as a decrease in crime, drug usage, and teen pregnancies. #RaiseAgainstAutism #PinnacleSaysItAll #PinnacleBloomsNetwork #1AutismTherapyCentresNetwork

Let's be peacemakers for our children this #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. They need us to be. The *adults* in children's lives play such an essential role in building their sense of self, morality, and well being. We know it is wrong for children to hit, fight, or bite another child and teach those basic social skills with our toddlers. So, adults should never teach children that smacking, spanking, or any form of corporal punishment is an acceptable way to solve conflicts, much less to teach positive behavior. Parents are children's first teachers -- and children should be able to trust those caregivers AND their teachers to nurture and protect them. Violence begets violence. Alternative age-appropriate and nonviolent behavioral strategies, such as positive reinforcement, conflict resolution strategies, and increased support from educators, counselors, and other family support professionals, is essential for promoting a nurturing and conducive learning environment for all youth. It's also foundational for our children's mental health. We can #NurturePositiveChildhoods by assuring adults are modeling nurturing, guiding behavior when we interact with our children. Pass it on.

Child Development Resources! Village is thrilled to launch our Child Development Campaign for families and services. The campaign was developed in response to a need identified by the community through our extensive engagement across the early years sector. Last year, Village and partner organisations designed a Child Development Poster on developmental milestones and health checks, referring to the ACT Health Bluebook. The poster was widely shared across our network and received an overwhelming response. Building on this evident need, we are excited to share a series of 8 videos and accompanying flyers, each representing the developmental milestones outlined in the Child Development Poster. We encourage you to use and share theses resources with your families and friends. So that we all work together to support our children’s healthy development. Thank you for your support.
