#healthcaredecisionsmatter Today is National healthcare decisions day, a very important topic that everyone must consider and start conversing about. Having a healthcare plan set in place does not just apply to end of life issues. It should include mental illness, transfusions, amputations, and incapacitation. “Healthcare” encompasses the maintenance or improvement of health through the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, or cure of illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in people. Did you know you can find the most up to date healthcare decision forms on Texas Health and Human Services website? Did you know when admitted to our services you get access with a licensed social worker who can help you navigate and start the process of the conversations and paperwork? https://lnkd.in/gzKsgRsZ
