"It's an audience, not a community." What profound words from a delightful little shell in Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. When thinking about a business or organizational challenge, do you ever ask yourself whether you need an audience or a community? Both have their benefits but achieve very different goals. Marcel started with an audience but ultimately realized he needed a community to accomplish his goal. Knowing which you need will impact your strategies, decisions, and ultimate success. Thanks for the insight, Marcel! https://lnkd.in/eE5EVefe

One of the biggest curiosities of our time is that so many people trust coercion over voluntary choice. Doug McCullough lays out why markets are better than mob rule. It's an interesting thought exercise to consider what would your younger self might say if they were to meet you today. What would you tell them? Jon Miltimore shares 6 financial tips he'd give his 18 year old self. One of the most frightening, yet liberating, realizations a person can have is that no one is riding to our rescue. Mike McDaniel says you're on your own--here's what to do about it. Normal men sit at or near the bottom of the intersectional totem pole of politically correct privilege. Cadence McManimon says, it's time to start speaking well of men again. Article of the Day: When you find yourself feeling overwhelmed at the amount of official wickedness being imposed upon humanity, Bill Rice has a timely reminder that should give you hope: The numbers favor our side. This is fab! The message is of profound importance. I also love the creative use of theatrical staging. The switching between who is speaking whose words. It shifts the perspective of the audience, it forces us to consider things in a new way. It is also worth noting their use of space. The way the physically switch at the start, and then switch back at the end. It seems like a small point, but it is vital in clarifying to the audience what is happening through the talk, and the reality of things at the end. https://lnkd.in/e_g8nQj6

Finding like-minded people isn't so much a matter of finding folks who agree with you on everything. It's more about finding people who approach the search for truth like you do. The Tenth Amendment Center is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to go to the source regarding the Original Intent of the Founders. Michael Boldin's take on the Second Amendment is spot on. Becoming a parent is one of the most challenging, yet meaningful things a person can do. Cadence McManimon has a great essay on the extraordinary joys of ordinary family life. Instead of running from the political polarization all around us, we can take an active role in calming it Lawrence W. Reed suggests 16 things individuals can do to help bring America together. Article of the Day: The subject of critical thinking has been on my mind a lot lately. J.B. Shurk has a convincing article about the West's war on our critical thinking skills and why we must push back. Sponsors: Life Saving Food Fifty Two Seven Alliance Iron Sight Brewing Co. Quilt & Sew
