Mental Health Collaboration Webinar: A Dive into Art Therapy
7 August 2024 : 14:00 (BST) / 15:00 (CEST)
Art Therapy is a behavioral therapy that can be practiced independently or as a complement to drug therapy. It involves outpatient sessions, which are more patient-friendly and less stigmatizing than traditional hospital-based approaches. Art therapists collaborate with psychologists, therapists, educators, and specialists from the cultural and artistic realms to provide this form of therapy.
The Catalyst 2030: Mental Health Collaboration’s webinar will include a quick introduction to understanding the tenets of Art Therapy, and it’s positive impact on mental health. This will be followed by a look into the effects of Art Therapy among two student populations- one concerned with suicidality and the other with drug and alcohol dependency.
Join Anna Mikosz, the President of The European Foundation For Art Therapy for this exciting talk!
