With the rise of carbon-neutral policies, there is a growing demand for advancements in various catalytic methane conversion technologies. Over the past decade, significant progress has been made in new catalytic routes and pathways for methane conversion, such as the oxidation of methane to methanol. In response, numerous research projects focused on catalytic methane conversion have been carried out, resulting in innovative catalysts for methane conversion.   The Guest Editors for this collection are: Kenichi Shimizu (Hokkaido University, Japan) Wataru Ueda (Kanagawa University, Japan) Hua Song (University of Calgary, Canada)   The Guest Editors have written an Editorial to introduce the collection and some of the featured work.
