Seeing many of my Linkedin connections post beautiful pictures of their herb gardens, certainly makes me jealous. Especially when mine looks like it came out of the Sahara (In my defence, I've only been here 2 months). Building or rebuilding a company is just like gardening. 1. You need money 2. You need time 3. You need to be passionate 4. You need the right gardener (people) 5. The right soil conditions (the market) 6. The right weather (the market conditions) 7. Grow the right plants, don't expect a vineyard here (the right product/service) 8. You need vision, one day a company will be successful and one day I'll have my herb ( hello hello I'm talking about Rosemary not the stuff Bob Marley liked) garden. #thebrandtheatre #tbt #shiock

Spring is nearly upon us, and today marks #NationalPlantAFlowerDay! This annual event celebrates the joy of planting flowers and eagerly anticipating the arrival of spring. For countless individuals, flower gardening has evolved into a beloved hobby, making National Plant a Flower Day the perfect kickoff to the new season each year. 🌷 *Tip: Start seeds indoors and place them by a sunny window. 🪟 Transfer them outside when the weather improves. Maintain moist soil, following seed package guidelines for germination. For those eager to start, peruse seed catalogs to plan your next flower garden. In warmer climates, grab your trowel and gloves to prep new soil. Sow seeds, bulbs, or plants and nurture them into a vibrant display for the neighborhood. 🌞

🌿Thriving Through Nature 🌱 Cultivating Resilience as a Horticultural Therapy Student & Resilience Coach 🌿
Staying in control is today’s tale from my garden 🌿. My raspberries are playing hide and seek between all the stuff that is growing around them, and guess what? The flowers and mint are winning. It’s a jungle out there! I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of playing the tough gardener. Cutting back those eager little plants feels like I’m turning down a friend. But things got wild, and not in the good way. I mean, it is really hard to pick the ripe raspberries for me - but easy for the snails to hide! So, what’s the garden learning today? Sometimes, you’ve gotta be the boss and lay down the law(n). It’s okay to say no to those sprouts that are too sprightly for their own good. If you don’t, they’ll throw a garden party without your permission. It’s just like in business. If we allow every idea to grow and don't focus on our goals, we can't see any results anymore. So let’s keep focus by taking control! Remember, it’s not about being mean; it’s about keeping the dream (team) of your garden and projects in check. I'm starting today - see? #gardeninginsights #naturalResilience #LearnFromNature
