TGIF- Thank God Its Friday…. or Not Here’s some facts about TGIF I bet you didn’t know… 📌 TGI Fridays was originally a cocktail bar opened in 1965. 📌 It used to be a singles bar. 📌 Alan Stillman, the founder, started the first ever “Happy Hour” with the belief that people who worked hard all day deserved discounted food and drinks after a long day’s work. 📌 It is credited with inventing potato skins and the classic Long Island Iced Tea. 📌 Fridays became one of the first chain restaurants to introduce non-alcoholic drinks. 📌 Seven astronauts attended its opening at the Houston Galleria Texas in 1973. 📌 Each TGI Fridays restaurant has a rowing skull that contains a pair of shoe & champagne bottle to remind us of the value of teamwork, leadership & celebrating success.
