Our discussions shed light on crucial issues affecting women's retention in the industry: 🔹 Pairing & Connection: - Need for better pairing among women to combat loneliness and isolation. - Importance of access to influential people and centralized ways for women to connect post-events. 🔹 Inclusivity: - Avoiding alienation of male allies. - Creating programs for men who genuinely want to help, foster, and recruit women. 🔹 Mentorship & Sponsorship: - Mentoring men to bridge generational gaps. - Addressing 'queen bee' or 'scarcity' mindsets among women leaders. - Exploring ways to reward empathy and compassion to help eliminate bro culture. 🔹 Partner Development Program Success: - Recognizing the success of the program. 🔹 Early Networking: - Ensuring women learn the art of networking early. - Providing alternative venues for networking, similar to men's traditional venues like country clubs and golf courses.
