For those still Active (Reserve or Guard is qualified) Use Army Ignite. You are granted 4,000 USD for funding for Professional certifications. You must submit your request 45 days in advance (that is alot of study time) from the date you want to actually take your exam. No skill port, no prerequisites. This is a great opportunity to get your training in. For example: CompTIA security has different bundles you can buy. You can buy the bundle training plan for that exam. Now there is always a catch. If you fail you will need to pay that money back to the Army.

The proposed cuts to the Army Credentialing Assistance program represent a shortsighted decision with potentially far-reaching consequences for veterans and service members alike. This move overlooks the critical role that credentialing programs play in preparing service members for successful transitions into civilian life. By limiting funding for credentials unrelated to a soldier's current job, the Army fails to recognize the diverse skill sets and career aspirations of its personnel. The Value of a TS/SCI Clearance Dear LinkedIn Community, Today, I'd like to shed some light on a crucial aspect of my military journey – the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. This clearance isn't just a piece of paper; it's a commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and safeguarding the nation's most sensitive information. In the realm of intelligence, the importance of this clearance cannot be overstated. In each of my career paths (Linguist, HUMINT, & SF Medic), I was entrusted with confidential and classified information that is pivotal to the success of our missions. The details we possess can be the difference between life and death, between mission success and failure. The TS/SCI clearance symbolizes a vow to protect our nation's most valuable secrets. It is a testament to the trust the military places in its personnel, and it comes with the immense responsibility to uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality. Throughout my career, it was clear that trust is the bedrock of any successful team. It's the glue that holds us together during challenging missions. Although it isn't the complete picture, the TS/SCI clearance is the embodiment of that trust. It represents our commitment to safeguarding not only classified information but also the lives of our teammates and the security of our country. As I transition to civilian life, I carry with me the lessons of confidentiality, integrity, and the profound importance of trust. These principles will guide my actions and decisions in the civilian world.
