Greetings, LinkedIn network, This past weekend I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Startup Weekend Capital Region of New York. Experiencing the entire process, from brainstorming a startup idea on Friday evening to delivering a comprehensive pitch with a Minimal Viable Product (MVP), was truly enlightening, especially for someone not deeply immersed in the world of entrepreneurship. One of the key take aways from the weekend was that no matter how much you theorize about a business idea, you need to go out there and get feedback from costumers — better known as Customer Validation — Thank you Robert Manasier for this key piece of advice. I especially want to thank my teammates (Katrin Haldeman Cee McDermott Daniel Lannan) and mentors/staff (Robert Manasier, Samuel Mere, Cameron Erickson, Terence Musto, Michael Lanuto, CRPC®, AWMA®) for sharing their market experience, advice, thoughts and ideas. With the invaluable guidance and synergy from our mentors and teammates, our startup idea was honored as the winner of this edition.
