Words don’t often fail me but when I spoke to this candidate after their interview, I couldn’t believe my ears. They had to do the whole thing staring at a BLACK SCREEN with just their own face in the corner to look at. It’s hard enough to get a rapport going over a video call, but when you can’t see the other person’s face, it’s even more difficult. To do this to a candidate is inexcusable. #candidateexperience #hr #recruitment

Investigation Best Practice for HR - #4 “Anything else I should know?” This is one of the most powerful questions you can ask at the end of an investigation interview. Also, I recommend that you pause long enough after the question to create the time needed for individuals to decide to share information that they may be withholding.
