We're thrilled about our partnership with Allina Health to embed our Anoka County Mobile Crisis Response Team in the Center for Mental Health and Addiction in Fridley. The team participated in a ribbon cutting last week and will move in soon! Residents of Anoka County may contact the Mobile Crisis Response Team at (763) 755-3801.

Our amazing Forest Lake clinicians recently built a Sobriety Tree in our new Suite 6. Current and former clients have been visiting to sign a leaf for major sobriety milestones. The tree is a beautiful symbol of growth, hope, healing, and recovery! We're so proud of all of our clients and staff!

Our hearts are so full after our Staff Appreciation Party last night. For many of us, working at Canvas Health is so much more than just a job - it's a community, an opportunity to devote our time in service to others, and a place to make lifelong friends. We were especially grateful to honor our long tenured staff members, including John Cassidy, who has been with our substance use disorder program for more than 40 years - the longest tenure of any HSI/Canvas Health employee. It's impossible to know how many lives our staff touch, but we know the world is better with them in it.

Join Canvas Health and United Way Of Hastings for an important Film Screening of "My Sister Liv". Through fearless storytelling, My Sister Liv reveals the realities of stigma, the struggles of mental health, and the aftermath for the survivors left behind in a suicide. As a family learns to cope with their new normal, they find hope in filling a gap around fearlessly talking about mental health and ultimately to save young lives. 

We're proud to announce that Stephanie Hamlin, our Suicide Prevention Regional Coordinator Supervisor will be presenting at the MSSA (MSSA (Minnesota Social Service Association) Conference on March 22. Stephanie will be co-hosting three “Flash Sessions” on Minnesota Suicide Prevention Regional Coordination.
