Join us as we discuss our new research! We wanted to better understand the deep metaphors patients and caregivers use after they've experienced palliative care. So, we asked them. We know that many patients who could benefit from #PalliativeCare don't receive services because of misconceptions, a lack of awareness, or confusing messaging. And our field could benefit greatly from more public messaging techniques that address these perceptions and speak directly to patient and caregiver needs first. In our latest study, we focused on understanding real people's deeply held beliefs and associations with palliative care. These beliefs and metaphors can help guide future campaigns to create interest in palliative care and address the misconceptions and fears often associated with treatment for a serious illness. Join us as we discuss our new research study on a Crowdcast Webinar on September 27th at 1pm PT/ 4pm ET, sign up at the link below! https://lnkd.in/eg5YQEEY #PalliativeCareAwareness #Caregiving
