Did you know, Theodore Roosevelt helped preserve 230 million acres of land in the United States? How? He started small and built incremental momentum. He started with a small three-acre bird-breeding reservation in Florida. Following this, the Congress passes several laws to protect and preserve natural habitats. By the end of his two terms as President he had preserved land more than the combined land mass of France and Germany. He didn’t set out doing this by announcing his preservation ambitions. Had he done that, for sure, he would have faced protests from miners and industries. But he chose the path of creating incremental momentum. You don’t have to always move fast and break things to transform. Choose to change incrementally. What small step can you take today to build momentum toward your impactful goals? #incremental #momentum #transformation Brad Borkan

Come with me on a little journey of imagination. As America’s largest cities descend into violent, overcrowded madness, it is the perfect time for sensible Americans to do what Americans did in the 1800s: move out West for a better life. Pioneers, such as the Latter Day Saints (Mormons), packed up their wagons and made the arduous journey to the wide open spaces, where the view of the mountains is like the presence of God. And there, free of the spiritual poison of congested cities, they took root. Today all it takes is a moving van and an internet connection for anyone to make their own Zion (biblical name for “city of refuge”). There are many, many places out West that were originally created as mining towns or railroad stops, but which withered away when mines ran out, or because an interstate Highway diverted traffic away from it. In Colorado alone, within a 2 hour drive from Denver, there are tiny little towns with romantic names like Wild Horse and Last Chance and Kit Carson, where land is ridiculously cheap. And they’re not in some godforsaken wilderness— they’re situated right along major US highway routes like US 40 and US 287. Some Colorado localities, like the city of Flagler, are even giving away free land to businesses that relocate there. Relocate to paradise and be a pioneer, but with all the modern conveniences. All it takes is a handful of families, and your own little Zion will spring up around you. I am a Colorado-licensed attorney. Let me help you escape from the darkness and live the dream. The possibilities here are endless.

Even though an article was written about the state of the sewage-filled Harbour View street in St. Andrew, there wasn't much change, and sadly one motorist lost his life by swerving from the filth and becoming involved in a road crash. Many parts of the United States are expensive. The most expensive areas tend to be on the coasts and the least expensive tend to be in the Midwest or South. Though many Americans think California or New York are the most expensive states, they aren't the top dogs. These are the most expensive: #1. Hawaii. #2. Washington DC. #3. Massachusetts. #4. California. #5. New York. Hawaii is the most expensive state in the country because of its location. Since Hawaii cannot produce everything it needs, so it has to import most goods and services. This greatly increases the cost of everyday items. Congratulations to Hawaii for being the most expensive state and pushing our children to leave Hawaii. This drain of our Children does not help our business that need these minds to stay to help grow our businesses.

Check out this interesting article from BBC about how Unions are calling to save Harland and Wolff's Scottish yards. The situation is crucial and it's important to support the preservation of these historic yards. It's great to see organizations standing up for the preservation of important parts of our history and industry. Let's hope for a positive resolution soon! #HarlandandWolff #ScottishYards #IndustryPreservation https://ift.tt/gi7yKs0
