The Pomodoro Method isn't a bad guide: 1. 25 minutes of focused work, then 2. 5 minute micro breaks

I notice that some of my coworkers tend not to take breaks. I understand the importance of them and because I hyper focus I have my smart watch remind me to take breaks. I Always feel much more focused and productive after a quick walk around the building. 😀

During our monthly in-office day, I typically break outside to use my Merlin birdwatching app, while my dearest coworker Amelia E. plays chess on her phone. #neurospicyHacks

Micro breaks are so important. The Pomodoro technique helps in reminding us to take quick 5 minute micro breaks after 25 minutes of focused work.
