⚡ 🔌 Yesterday, I joined California Environmental Protection Agency Secretary Yana Garcia, fellow CEC Commissioner Noemí Gallardo, and Fuels & Transportation Division Director Hannon Rasool to celebrate Comite Civico Del Valle, Inc. (CCV) on the completion of another EV infrastructure project in Imperial Valley! CCV is playing a huge role in helping build out chargers for this community. The California Energy Commission is proud to support the funding of this project, through CALeVIP, which will provide ZEV drivers access to EV fast chargers in Calipatria. Our hope is that greater access to EV chargers like these will encourage more EV adoption in the valley, saving drivers money on fuel and maintenance costs while helping clean the air.
