A free and powerful way to significantly enhance your health and wellbeing. As busy people, sleep may seem more like a luxury. But is it ok to sacrifice sleep? Does too little sleep affect our health? People that do not get adequate sleep: Are more likely to be stressed and have impaired glucose levels. Are more likely to crave unhealthy food. Are more likely to be sick as they have lower resistance to illnesses. I recommend getting at least 7 hours of sleep every night. If you are having trouble with getting adequate sleep here are some tips: 💡Make your environment sleep conducive by making sure the room is completely dark. 💡Try to go to bed around the same time every day, and on weekends try not to sleep in longer than 1 hour after your typical wake up time. 💡Coordinate your meals with your sleep schedule. For example, try to eat at least 3 hours before bed. By doing things to facilitate sleep and sticking to a set schedule you’ll be working with your internal clock so that you consistently wake up feeling rested, and full of energy. In addition, you allow your body to repair itself, lower your risks of heart diseases, cancers and mood disorders. Many individuals and small businesses don't truly have access to healthcare.
