We’re excited to introduce a new way to submit setlists! With this feature, you can now easily submit setlists and performances directly within MijnBumaStemra, our portal for members. Watch the full video here: youtu.be/9MQqR1N8_u0 Or discover the features on mijn.bumastemra.nl right away! Submitting setlists after a live performance is crucial. This allows our systems to match the performed songs with registered works, ensuring that rightsholders are properly compensated for the use of their music. Previously, setlists were submitted through the Buma Setlists app or by sending Excel files. This method will remain available for a brief period, before being entirely phased out by the end of 2024.

If you're a performer who plays your original music and you don't know about ASCAP's OnStage function (BMI has a similar function as well), you're missing out on money that belongs to you. ASCAP pays composers royalties when their music is performed. This means you can submit your set lists and performance information, and ASCAP will pay you for every original song you perform that is already registered with ASCAP - SO: Step 1: Register your music with ASAP Step 2: Submit your set list (including any covers you played) and performance information Step 3: Profit Pro Tip: If you use Gig Boss app, the data from your gigs - things like dates, times and set lists - can be found in your "past gigs" tab. Do this instead of the tedious work of searching through 9,000 emails for the set list that you sent your band 3 months ago.
