Partnering with Property Council of Australia, we were delighted to bring some of our industry's leading policymakers and advocates together in one of Sydney's most successful adaptive reuse buildings at Sub Station No. 164, to discuss how we can transform our vacant office towers into dynamic spaces for living, learning and creativity. Our panel experts, including Built's own Jono Cottee and City of Sydney's Graham Jahn, discussed how they will navigate the planning and regulatory complexities of adaptive reuse and the opportunities to harness architectural ingenuity into the future. "Our goal in the property sector should be to create sustainable and vibrant cities that serve the needs of our community. There needs to be some flexibility in the regulation around adaptive reuse to allow for more of these projects." Absolutely love the project and the sustainable drivers - would be great to understand how the project commercials were set up and achieved! So much to be shared and we all need more education!
