This is actually incredibly exciting. Certifying as a B Corp is a material commitment to a higher standard of equity and impact for your employees and community. By going B corp, you accept optional limitations and overhead that keep you accountable to the people who matter most in any org: The workers. It's also a colossal PITA for a company to change entity type in flight. Sincere kudos to Buck for doing the hard but right thing. Next stop: Cooperative? :eyes:

Very interesting day at FEI. My first time attending and it offered fascinating insight into the challenges facing corporate innovation. Here is one I heard: Company leaders want disruptive innovation but they are wary of internal disruption. Can a team who needs to embrace risk associated with disruption thrive in a corporate environment whose systems and processes are designed to de-risk activities?
