Bolder. Better. Together. These three words are more than a theme. They are what we strive to be, who we are, and where we are heading.
They inspire and motivate our employees, our Executive Leadership Team, and our Board of Directors. They are our call to action as we grow ourselves and our brands, and invest in our business and the communities we call home.
In fiscal year 2023, we were bolder, we performed better, and we are building Brown-Forman together.
Fiscal 23 was an exciting year for Brown Forman. It was the second year in a row we delivered double digit sales growth, which is the first time that's happened in a very long time. Virtually every brand group saw growth and almost all the geographies we continue to reshape the portfolio and brought in two new and exciting. Brands and Gin, Mari and Diplomatico. But we also embarked on our first truly global sponsorship of Formula One with the McLaren team. We launched Jack and Coke globally. We actually managed to go from signing the contract to the first products shipping into our first market in Mexico in just five months. That in and of itself shows that the company is already operating in a bolder fashion and you want to be able to give your teams the kind of portfolio that fits what the consumer is looking for. And we can do that with a strong balance sheet. We are moving into higher price points, we are moving into higher margins and at the end of the day from a consumer perspective. We are premium izing our business. That's the opportunity we have now how we can keep attracting these new consumers and also trading up the consumer from standard to premium, from premium to super premium spirits. By 2032, it should be that by far more than half of our overall sales growth is outside the United States. Our ability to understand cultural nuances and to work and partner together with markets around the world will be really important to performance. So as we continue to grow globally and increase our presence in our international markets, it becomes even more important and critical to ensure that. We have an inclusive culture. When we feel seen and heard, we're more creative. We make better decisions. Innovation increases. As a result of building that inclusive culture, we create a place where people care about one another, care about their communities, care about the work, that place where people are bolder and better. In our value strategy, as we are trying to move forwards, sustainability plays a very key role. Resources are limited and we understand that we have to get very creative in order to make sure that this company endures for another 153 years. Being responsible for our environment, for the communities where we live and work, for responsible marketing and consumption of our products. It's part of our strategy and how we live, our spirit of commitment. What excites me about Boulder Better Together is we've identified it's possible and we've set the challenge to go do it. We will always be stronger when we work as a team. That's where the Together is really important. And I think the ingredients that goes into boulder and butter are values. That's what creates Brown Forman culture and brown Forman results. We've got so much momentum moving into this fiscal year. We wanna take the successes and platforms that we've built over the last few years and really take them to the next level.
Could you connect me with someone from your sales department? I'm trying to make a purchase on behalf of my company, and we need to get in touch with you.
Thanks!

It was a pleasure to be back at the Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference in Boston earlier this month. I was joined on stage by our President and CEO, Lawson E. Whiting, for a discussion with Barclays’ Equity Research U.S. CHPC & Beverages Analyst about the continued normalization in the spirits industry.
When asked about business improvements we have made, I underscored our culture of continuous improvement, a mindset that started with Brown-Forman’s founding promise of #NothingBetterInTheMarket. It’s what’s driven us to build exceptional spirits brands for consumers worldwide for more than 150 years, and it will be the catalyst for our growth in the future.
