Glossop A settlement in the foothills of the Pennines, England - other names include Utopia, Heaven, Paradise. Though many have attempted to find Glossop, few have succeeded. The lack of any reference on maps has made locating this acclaimed land an arduous task, and many great explorers have failed in their attempts to find it (Columbus himself declared that "Glossop shall never be found, rendering my life incomplete.") If by chance you should ever find Glossop (and this is unlikely unless you live there) then you will find it to be a place of great intrigue. For those of you wishing to read more on the legend of Glossop, visit www.glossop.com, if indeed such a place even exists... I recently came across an intriguing post that drew a comparison between agency recruiters and plumbers, suggesting that internal Talent Acquisition (TA) teams are misguided for stating "no agencies" because their "plumbing" is broken. 🤔 Flipping the table, imagine having plumbers knocking at your door day and night, insisting they can fix your sink (which isn't even broken) or help with imaginative renovations. Sounds annoying, right? As someone who’s been in the agency world, I understand the hustle – business development is crucial. But when a job post says "no agencies," it likely means things are under control or there are not other options at the moment. Here’s why: 1. They might not have the budget. 2. They probably have a highly efficient internal team. 3. They could already be working with other agencies that are presenting good results Making internal recruiters or job posts that set clear expectations the "bad guys" won’t move your business forward. Respect the boundaries and focus on genuine opportunities. As for things at Rasa 💜 , we are chill for now but always keeping conversations with good agencies that bring added value, and, maybe, who knows - we will need a plumber in the future!

What the employer want is not : 1.A job searcher 2.I have no money i need a job now 3.Iam a grown up person now need to work 4.I need to pay my bills need a job 5. What the employer need is an employee someone who wants to work not for money but they want to work for the sake of working and someone who is able to add more value to the company that since they joined, you can see the achievements and growth. That is why the people who volunteer with no promise of contract are most likely to be employed if they perform better.
