So far, this business has been the longest place I have been employed in my life. Being my own boss suits me, and I love what we do, and the people we do it with. Obviously, it helps that our customers are such lovely people, and that means we are happy to help them in any way we can. I found a home here years ago and am happy to stay.
Thinking things over during the last few weeks, I would say that maybe if I knew what was involved in the latest bit of work, I would not have started on the journey. I am pretty sure that is as true as starting the business, as it is new ventures and business objectives.
I guess the key bit of advice I got, and that I would like to share, was just to start and see where the journey takes you and deal with those lessons as they come along. But to see them as lessons, rather than anything else. They are not setbacks, delays, wins, or results, but lessons. If you learn, then nothing is wasted.
As our business has grown, so have our contacts, our team, and our vision. We have seen ourselves working in a wide variety of laboratories outside of IVF that complement our skill set and those that really stretch our mindset, taking on all sorts of lessons as we went.
I am thrilled that the new platform LabSynergy.co.uk has arrived. Building on our core and still very special lessons at IVFSynergy, we have seen ourselves working with other related disciplines, learning lessons and making progress. There is great mutual benefit there in those lessons learned and those yet to be had.
I am sure that these disciplines can help each other and make us all greater than we would be apart.
It’s an interesting time for our Synergy to shine.
