"Growth strategy" Business game in #SDABocconi. After 3 days I am still feeling the competition! Special thanks to the faculty members who made the simulation fun and challenging. For two consecutive days and after 8 time-restricted periods of decision playing, we competed against 14 teams real-time. What was this "business game" about? 📌 15 teams/companies including ours (Spain 7) played a virtual game reproducing a competitive framework in Europe. 👔👗 Each member of the team had a specific role within the virtual company. ⏳ We had to make fast decisions and accurate predictions on our sales and cash forecasts. 📈 We had to perform SWOT analysis, design and implement our strategy. 💰We had to negotiate our prices and make deals while trying to maintain our margin and market share. And we had to make sure we had enough raw material for our own production and distribution. ⌨️ We had to prepare 2 assignments (!) and a CEO speech real-time, within just a 1.5 hr of the decision period. 🤝 But most importantly, we had to trust each other, respect each other, overcome any tension and act as a team despite it was our 1st time working together. I felt privileged to work with these excellent team players: Alice Giardini who was formidable at closing deals and the most motivated seller of the whole game, Massimiliano Locci who had the wisdom to identify the strengths of the company, determine the strategy and lead us till the end, Roberto Caporicci who did a fantastic job keeping the numbers, calculating costs and gains and making predictions, Giorgio Ferrero who Skillfully negotiated, provided intelligent insights and kept us motivated, and Gianluca Andreoletti who joined late the team but provided important insights into business intelligence. I am #grateful for the aftermath of the game. I was blown away by the amazing closing presentation by Prof Massimiliano Bruni. Funny, engaging, but with strong messages. One of a kind! Although we didn't win the game, we are winners b/c of the valuable lessons learned, the camaraderie and progress we made as a team. Thank you SDA Bocconi

Today, I had the great pleasure to join the TVARIT team EUROGUSS representing one of the most important fairs of the casting industry in Germany. I had the big pleasure to support the team around Jürgen Schmiezek to bring the idea of ‘creating a booth that challenges established players and shows our drive forward, yet still focuses on what really counts: interaction. Building a great #eventconcept if you have brand provenance, sufficient budget and time is one thing. Delivering on the need for speed and efficient execution within a few weeks, with new colleagues and almost non-existent communication guidelines is another. I just love it! And here we go, on the way to this year’s TVARIT booth, we didn’t only create a cool #3dbillboard and an industrial design style. We actually started a journey to define an identity around TiA, the only casting-specific AI solution.
