Just a few days after the #BESummit24 in London, where we were able to recognize all the achievements since the creation of Breakthrough Energy and what still lies ahead on our journey to net zero, I reflect on some key moments:   🌍 Feeling inspired by Bill Gates' opening keynote and Eric Toone' speech on the state of the global transition. It was fascinating to see how quickly things have moved on since the last #BESummit in Seattle two years ago. 💡 Listening to Cooper Rinzler's forward-thinking vision of the way ahead, from mitigation to adaptation to intervention. 🔥 Applauding #EUCatalyst's latest €75M investment in Rondo Energy to advance industrial decarbonization projects in Denmark, Germany and Portugal. Rondo's innovative heat battery technology aims to replace fossil fuels heat sources in industrial processes. 🏢 Having the chance to tour a carbon-neutral building in London, near Tower Bridge, developed by FORE Partnership, showcasing how we can transform our existing building stock with many innovations such as Aeroseal and Biomason, as the solution cannot only be new buildings. 🤝 Getting to meet (or meet again) some of the world's leading cleantech innovators and enthusiasts, such as Boston Metal, GeologicAI, Molten Industries, CarbonCure Technologies, Ecocem Global, Aspiring Materials, Bloom Biorenewables, Circ® 🍻 Spending time with the amazing BE team, including my European colleagues Ann Mettler Julia Reinaud Philipp Offenberg Alberto Toril Castro Mariano Berkenwald Maria Leis Jordan P.
