STOP worrying when crypto and NFTs are “coming back”. START talking about what you want them to BECOME. Taking cues from “the markets“ and/or opinions of others is: - reactionary - lacks conviction - is not leadership Move forward with confidence in your ideas. Your ideas actively shape the future. They are the essence of “building in web3”. “Building in web3” is meaningless until ideas and vision tell people what to build and how high. Or, just do what 90% of people in web3 do by adopting a traders mentality — glued to the ups and downs of markets, floor prices, and trying to time an entry point. 🫠 Speculation, assumptions, fixed mindset, and waiting for “signals from the market” BEFORE making decisions shows who is serious about this space and who is not. You can’t kill an idea. You can’t kill true vision. From the ashes they rise like a phoenix. But that can’t happen until you believe it. It’s your party, plan it however you want. Yeeehaww mfers! 🫶🏼 Brand New Voices #web3

The last five sentences instantly kicked in this quote in my mind by Chuck Palahniuk in his book called Choke. “The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That's the only lasting thing you can create.

This rings true. So many people are actually thinking on what the market is doing, instead of developing them as specialists.

Most of the industry is reactionary, waiting for validation/confirmation of something they have no control over, rather than starting/building something where they have a lot more sway over the outcome. If you got an idea, start building in some way, shape or form - or someone else will!

I've been thinking a lot more deeply about what I want it to become and started having some deep convos these last couple of weeks to checks everyones pulse and see where folks heads were at and it was immense how many people still are passionate and trying to figure out those next steps. It's why I love the "web - NFT" space!
