This rings true. So many people are actually thinking on what the market is doing, instead of developing them as specialists.
Most of the industry is reactionary, waiting for validation/confirmation of something they have no control over, rather than starting/building something where they have a lot more sway over the outcome. If you got an idea, start building in some way, shape or form - or someone else will!
I've been thinking a lot more deeply about what I want it to become and started having some deep convos these last couple of weeks to checks everyones pulse and see where folks heads were at and it was immense how many people still are passionate and trying to figure out those next steps. It's why I love the "web - NFT" space!

Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That's the only lasting thing you can create.
