We all aim to create a safe and inclusive environment online, but unfortunately, biased tactics like keyword blocking present challenges that disproportionately affect Black-owned media companies like Blavity Inc.
Brand safety should be a concern for all advertisers, but it's time we take a closer look at how its misapplications are not only leading to financial losses for Black media brands, but how they're also suppressing content from legitimate news outlets that are highlighting diverse perspectives.
