I read an article last week that mentioned one of the best things you can do for yourself is to NEVER STOP YOUR JOB SEARCH. The idea behind this is that you never want to close yourself off from opportunities. Agree to disagree. Always job searching and keeping an open mind to new opportunities are two different things to me. In my opinion and experience, if you are always on the hunt, you are always looking for the next best thing. This will only leave you unsatisfied in the now. You are also always seeing pay ranges that don't match your current rate and that also can make you bitter.....I could go on..... Be open to new opportunities if they present themselves, but if you are happy in the now, we should be okay with being happy in the now and not always looking for the next move. Some may see this as lacking motivation or not wanting upward mobility, but I think there is nothing wrong with being content. If you still feel like you are contributing, appreciated and see a path within for upward mobility, why would I feel like I need to leave? #HRJobs #adminjobs #jobsearch #staffingagency #employmentagency #jobplacement #workforcesolutions #hrconsulting #jobrecruitment #officestaffing #humanresourcesjobs #jobseekers #workopportunities #leadership #upwardmobility #seatatthetable #worklifebalance

When responding to the question "Why are you looking for a job change?" in an interview with HR, it's important to frame your answer positively and focus on your professional growth and goals. Here are some tips on how to approach this question: 1) Emphasize Career Growth: Highlight your desire for career advancement and how the new position aligns with your long-term career goals. Mention specific skills or experiences you hope to gain in the new role that weren't available in your current position. 2) Positive Company Aspects: Acknowledge positive aspects of your current or previous job, but explain that you are seeking new challenges or opportunities for development. Express appreciation for what you've learned so far but convey that you are ready for a new and exciting chapter in your career. 3) Cultural Fit: If applicable, discuss the importance of company culture and how you believe the new company's culture aligns better with your values and work style. 4) Seeking New Challenges: Mention that you are eager for new challenges and that you believe the new role will allow you to apply and expand your skills in a different and meaningful way. 5) Company Reputation: If the new company has a strong reputation in the industry or is known for specific positive attributes, you can mention that you are attracted to these aspects and want to contribute to such a successful environment. 6) Relocation or Commute: If the reason for the job change is related to relocation or commute, you can briefly explain the practical aspects without dwelling too much on the negative aspects. 7) Avoid Negative Comments: It's crucial to avoid speaking negatively about your current or previous employer. Focus on the positive aspects of your career goals and the opportunities the new position presents. #HR #HumanResource #humanresourcemanagement #hrm #talentacquisition #recruitment #hiring #jobseeker #jobchange #humanresources #jobinterviews #hiringandpromotion #jobalert #nowhiring #job #gethired #jobopening #jobfair #recruiting #jobopening #hiring #joinourteam #jobs #jobhiring #remotework #jobsearch #jobsearching #jobseekers #hire #opentowork

Architecture and Engineering Recruiter @ Green Key Resources | Connecting Professionals to Ideal Opportunities in MA, NY, FL, and GA
There is not a specific, perfect TIME OF YEAR to switch jobs. There are only specific, perfect OPPORTUNITIES to switch jobs. There is this weird assumption that the end of the year is a bad time to move jobs because vacations, hiring time, the market, etc.. That's all a load of crap. It doesn't matter if it's July, December, March, or September - The only reason people search for new positions is because they are looking for a better opportunity. The only reason companies hire people is because they have a need to fill. The time of year is simply - irrelevant. #content #networking #foodforthought #candidateexperience #jobhunting #advice

As a Recruiter, I've had the privilege of meeting many individuals with successful backgrounds who love what they do and earn impressive salaries. Yet, despite these advantages, they are still looking to leave their current jobs and seek new opportunities. Why would a candidate with such favorable conditions want to leave their current employment? The answer is simple: environment. This realization has made it clear to me that a positive work environment is equally, if not more, important than any other factor in a business. A healthy environment is crucial for keeping employees satisfied and motivated to elevate your business to new heights, rather than seeking opportunities elsewhere.

Is it time for a change? It is dark when you leave in the morning, it is dark when you leave the office, you have been considering a change in career for some time however you have decided to hold out until the new year. You want to just bide your time until January and get through the winter months. I understand that there is never a perfect time, however, here are a few reasons, why you may consider a new opportunity now rather than waiting until January 2024: 1. Less competition – Getting in front of recruiters and prospective employers now means that you will already be known to them ahead of the January rush. Even if there isn’t a suitable role at present you will be front of the queue when something suitable does come up. 2. “New Year, New Me” – We have all heard the cliché… however working your notice period can drag as you are excited to start your new position. Often employers will reduce the notice period around this time to allow you to start in the new year. 3. Who knows what will happen in the future? – We never know what the future may hold, things are always changing and we can never be certain of what is going to happen. Don’t delay and give yourself the opportunity to choose. If you are open to discussing new opportunities but not sure whether to wait out the cold, wet and dark British winter or to kick start your search now then please reach out. We are currently recruiting across a variety of levels in several different sectors, reach out to myself or another member of the team to talk through.

— 😣JOB SEEKING IS TORTUROUS.😓 "Job seeking is - the feeling of being hopeless. DEPRESSING. Accepting unsolicited advice from everyone on how you’re doing it wrong. MISERABLE. defending all you have done already and everywhere you’ve applied. AGONY. listening to people (you love) tell you, “Just pick a job, it’s better than not making any money.” UNHAPPINESS. the look you get when you mention to your friends and family that you are still looking for work." Meet Jade Pitman, SHRM-CP, former Talent Acquisition Manager at Aria Care Partners where she led a team of four Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on recruiting top talent across all disciplines in the organization, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to underserved senior populations in skilled nursing facilities.
