Newsflash: One size does NOT fit all when it comes to resumes. “But Spencer, isn’t that a lot of work to tailor my resume? I already have a good one.” You’ve got to tailor it like a nice suit. Each job is different, so your resume should be too. A resume that’s custom-fit to the job is like a key to a lock. It shows you're not just throwing your hat in every ring – you've got your eye on THIS prize. Here’s what to do: - Create a master resume template. Imagine a resume, but with unlimited length. It has everything. - Pick a job you're itching to apply for. - Scan the job description. See those keywords and skills they're after? - Cut out the parts that aren’t matching. - Tweak your resume to echo the job description. It's like mirroring in a conversation – it builds connection.

A resume is a way you get a job, every interviewer will ask for your resume. This allows them to get a sneak peek into your attributes and flaws The assumptions about resumes in 2023 are saturated everyone is applying for jobs every day the key is how can you stand out. Also, how could you deliver your resume? I know the story about an employee who once delivered his resume on a cake if, I was an interviewer I would be thrown off but see the dedication and it also makes a good desert after awards The way you approach creating or updating your resume is by freshening it up. With a saturated amount of resumes you cant use a stale template, trying to incorporate your personality into the background will help you set apart with users using Google Docs resume temples Some tip I would use myself is to color highlight your best features. Imagine opening up a resume and seeing a chunk of words all colored black that you won't be able to break down. Or mark which sections you want the reader to see first by using color psychology. Also, another tip is using the negative with background color in order to separate your sections instead of clunk of information. People in the workforce consider considers when creating when creating a resume is think about all activities that they have done in their life and break them down on the rank ladder and highlight their skills. I choose this article as it had tips I was already using and the author elaborated on it
