A recent survey conducted by Borzo has highlighted sales and customer acquisition, as well as recruitment and manpower issues, as the biggest challenges faced by Indian MSMEs in their growth journey. According to the survey findings, 16% of the respondents cited sales and customer acquisition as their primary concern, while 13% identified recruitment or manpower problems as the second-biggest hurdle. Fascinating insight from Ebsta around sales attainment in the last quarter It's really interesting to see the Pareto Principle (80/20) in action in that second statistic I've long believed that striving for MORE contribution across MORE reps is the key to sustainable long term achievement and harmony in a sales team However, it appears that these more challenging times create a bigger void between high performers and middling to low performers This is the time for more rigour and pipeline hygiene - not looser standards and acceptance of opportunities that aren't robust and valid Ruthless and aggressive qualification is the order of the day!
