Amazing! What technical (after 24 years of innovation) and commercial lessons have been learnt from Concorde (which in concept was still amazing) would be intriguing to know though?
At least something with the Boom crest will have an engine close to it.

4wCharles Taylor had never built an "aviation" engine before, and the Wright Brothers certainly had their detractors (although they were very private about their efforts and didn't have social media critics to contend with). Thankfully, visionaries like these don't pay attention to those who only focus on the hurdles. Could it fail? Of course. Nothing transformational is ever easy. But huge kudos to Blake Scholl and Boom Supersonic for persevering and ignoring the nay-sayers. I look forward to seeing the Overture rolling out of the factory right here in the Tar Heel State!
