Bonafide is proud to be a part of such an amazing organization that not only supports general health and wellness, but also prioritizes the importance of mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
I’m pleased to share that Pharmavite has awarded a $1 million grant to The Jed Foundation (JED), a leading nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for teens and young adults nationwide. The unrestricted grant will expand JED's work, which currently reaches over 1,200 schools, districts, and campuses, reaching more than 6.5 million students from pre-K through college and beyond. Pharmavite’s contribution will allow JED to accelerate work in its mission-driven focus areas that includes equipping individuals, strengthening schools, and mobilizing communities. As a parent myself, I know how essential The Jed Foundation’s mission-driven work is to providing resources for high school and college age students. This work can truly be lifesaving as these teens and young adults form the foundation they need for success as they age. For more information about JED’s academic programs, mental health resources, and ways to donate, visit jedfoundation.org.

On May 15th, 2024, Bonafide had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Makoto Inoue, President and Representative Director of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Representative Director, COO of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) Holdings Co., Ltd. – parent company of Pharmavite, who recently acquired Bonafide Health in November of 2023 – at the company’s headquarters in Harrison, NY. In our 2023 State of Menopause Survey, we found that 79% of women think that self-education is the best way to navigate the menopause transition vs. relying solely on the healthcare system. This continues to ring true, and at Bonafide, we’ve remained dedicated to keeping women informed so they can feel empowered to advocate for better healthcare options during menopause and beyond. Here, Bonafide VP of Marketing and Ecommerce, Kate Jamieson speaks on this year's Expo West “Revolutionizing Women’s Health Supplements” panel, about just how important education can be during the menopausal journey.
