🌟 As a women lead business we want to feel the deep sense of gratitude for International Women’s Day and the women who inspire us 🎉 This year, as we celebrate the theme of ‘Inspire Inclusion,’ let’s delve deeper into what it truly means. It’s not merely a theme…it’s a powerful call to action that resonates across communities and cultures worldwide. When we inspire others to understand and appreciate inclusion, we’re actively contributing to the creation of a more just and equitable society. By embracing diversity and amplifying marginalised voices, we foster a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment for all. Women play a pivotal role in this movement towards inclusion. When encouraged to be active participants in shaping our collective narrative, women bring a wealth of perspectives, experiences, and talents to the table. As women our contributions enrich understanding, we challenge the status quo, and pave the way for progress. Today, let’s renew our commitment to inspiring inclusion in every aspect of our lives. Let’s listen, learn, and lift each other up, ensuring that every voice is heard and every story is valued. Together, we can create a world where diversity is celebrated, equality is embraced, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Happy International Women’s Day! 💪💖 #InternationalWomensDay #InspireInclusion #DiversityandInclusion #womeninmedicine #womeninbusiness #womenempowerment

Diversity is not just a reflection of our global community; it is our greatest asset in nurturing a culture of open dialogue. True inclusion thrives in environments where open conversations are not just encouraged but cherished, providing spaces for women to share their stories, challenges, and triumphs which fosters a culture where everyone's narrative is acknowledged and these dialogues create bridges of understanding that connect us all. Inspiring inclusion is actively seeking out and amplifying the voices of women who are often marginalized or overlooked, it involves acknowledging the unique struggles faced by diverse groups of women, from ethnic minorities to those with varying abilities, and ensuring their narratives are not only heard but woven into the broader narrative of womanhood. Creating networks of support is at the heart of inclusion, women thrive when they are surrounded by allies who uplift and empower them. This International Women's Day, let us commit to being those allies, standing shoulder to shoulder with our fellow women, and creating environments where success is a shared victory. Inclusive workplaces are not just about diversity quotas; they are about breaking down systemic barriers, Inspiring inclusion is by advocating for equal opportunities, fair representation in leadership roles, and dismantling biases that hinder the professional growth of women from all backgrounds. A truly inclusive world recognizes and celebrates intersectionality, understanding that women's experiences are shaped by a complex interplay of factors like race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and much more, by championing intersectionality, we move beyond one-size-fits-all solutions to create environments that honour the unique identity of every woman. As we celebrate International Women's Day, let us do more than acknowledge the existence of women, let us actively work to inspire inclusion, creating spaces where every woman feels seen, heard, and empowered. By embracing the full spectrum of womanhood, we pave the way for a future where every woman can flourish and contribute to the collective strength of our global community. Happy international women’s day!

This International Women’s Day we asked our employees how this year's theme of Inspiring Inclusion resonates with them. Inspiring inclusion means to first embrace differences and work to create a society where we, as women, are valued for our capabilities, contributions, and diversities. Inspiring inclusion means creating an environment where women are empowered and allowed to showcase their skills and grow. Inspiring inclusion means removing the stigma of the glass ceiling for women not having the same opportunity to acquire leadership and decision-making roles because of our gender. To inspire inclusion, we must decide to work, as organizations, corporations, academic institutions, government entities, and as a society, to create an environment where women, no matter their race, age, geographical location, faith, economic status, or political choices, can effectively participate on the highest level. We will never be able to truly grow and flourish as a society if we continue to overlook or downplay what women have to offer. We all have a responsibility to create an environment where women are represented, respected, and valued for their talents and contributions. Kawonna Mitchell

Let’s celebrate Women’s History Month! This year's theme is “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,” acknowledging women nationwide who support a brighter future where we eliminate bias and discrimination from our lives and institutions. At Apeel we believe the more our workplace reflects and supports our partners in the fresh produce ecosystem, the more likely we will... 🌎 Have the necessary representation and voices at our global table (diversity) ➡ Remove barriers to ensure full opportunities to and participation of affected groups (equity) 🤝 Assure a sense of belonging and shared purpose (inclusion) All of these factors must be in place for us to drive meaningful, systemic transformation. The work begins within our own walls, with the intention of then cascading into opportunities that enable change within our broader communities.

HR & Talent Head / works with the board / engages stakeholders / sets direction / leads for a positive culture
It's International Day of Women and Girls in Science today. this year the campaign theme is "Inspire Inclusion". When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. I just came across some suggested everyday actions of inclusion that everyone can take to make the workplace more inclusive for women - so simple: - Seek women’s input: Ensure women are at the table when decisions are made - Give credit to the women whose voices seem to be unheard in 1:1 and group meetings - Get to know women around you, of all cultures/backgrounds - Demonstrate that you are interested and engaged when a woman is speaking - See something not right? Say something! - Provide straightforward yet candid and timely feedback to all regardless of their background - Ask others for feedback regularly on how your behavior is perceived - Don't make assumptions Elena M. Happy international women’s day! The theme for IWD this year is to inspire inclusion. Whether it’s your direct team, members of a project/initiative or a promotion, check in with yourself: Do women have an equal voice at this table? The reality is - we are still lacking meaningful inclusion in this space, especially in senior leadership positions. Whilst company equality targets are helpful, it is the make up of your leadership team that reflects your position on this matter. Magic happens when men and women truly collaborate and work together. We go hand-in-hand and both bring our strengths and unique perspectives. This year, make it a priority to reflect on your own choices in this space. Welcome equality, advocate balance, and celebrate the women who continue to work hard and show up - despite the challenges. Why is the theme of the 2024 international women's day "Inspiring Inclusion"? The theme "Inspiring Inclusion" for the 2024 International Women's Day underscores the importance of promoting diversity, equality, and inclusivity in all aspects of society. This theme aims to encourage individuals and communities to embrace differences, celebrate diversity, and create environments where all individuals, regardless of their gender, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality. By focusing on inclusion, the 2024 International Women's Day theme highlights the need to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create a more inclusive world where all individuals have equal opportunities and rights. It serves as a call to action to inspire and empower people to recognize the value of diversity and work together to create a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone, regardless of gender or other defining characteristics. Through the theme of "Inspiring Inclusion," the 2024 International Women's Day aims to foster dialogue, raise awareness, and spark positive change towards a more inclusive and equitable future for women and all members of society. This month should be dedicated to campaigning for a society where everyone is involved in fostering a society of equity and justice. Happy new week. Make the best out of it!

March is Women's History Month. An opportunity to celebrate the contributions and resilience of women through th ages. But we know inclusivity in the workplace is not just about one celebration a year or only recognising certain people on certain dates. Employers can take intentional actions to break down barriers, promote equity, and ensure every person feels valued and supported. We want to raise awareness with employers that inclusion requires more than just putting up posters or sending out an email on a particular day to follow a hashtag. The EZHR guide to inclusion gives you the practical steps employers can take to implement inclusion policies and make sure they are part of your everyday workplace culture.
