Thank you to all those who have shown us fatherly love. This Father's Day, we reflect on fathers with this prayer. God and parent of all, Today we celebrate fathers and the unique gift of a father’s love. Bless all fathers with a deep and abiding appreciation for the significance of the role they play in the lives of their children. Fill their hearts with your Holy Spirit, inspiring them to model for their children your love and goodness. Help them to believe in their children as you believe in us. Light within each of us the flame of gratitude for the profound contribution our fathers make to our lives. May we always be grateful for the blessing of fathers, for their love and support, and for their encouragement throughout our journey, supporting our efforts to lead full, engaged, and meaningful lives. Amen.

Reflecting on Freedom and Sacrifice❤️ This Memorial Day, let’s pause and reflect on the immense sacrifices made by our fallen heroes. Their bravery and dedication have given us the priceless gift of freedom. 🕊️ Gratitude isn’t just about saying thank you; it’s about truly feeling and understanding the depth of what has been given to us. Today, let’s deepen our gratitude by focusing on the freedoms we enjoy and the sacrifices that made them possible. Here’s a practical way to incorporate gratitude into your Memorial Day: 🌟Acknowledge: Take a moment to recognize the freedoms you enjoy—freedom of speech, freedom to pursue your passions, freedom to gather with loved ones. 🌟Why: Reflect on why these freedoms are important to you. How do they enrich your life and the lives of those around you? 🌟Effect: Consider the impact of these freedoms on your daily life. How do they allow you to live fully and authentically? By engaging in this reflective practice, we not only honor the memory of those who have fallen but also bring a deeper sense of appreciation into our daily lives. Let’s share this gratitude with our community and encourage others to do the same. Together, we can create a ripple effect of appreciation and remembrance. 🌟 Take a moment today to share a story of how you’ve benefited from the freedoms provided by our heroes, or simply post a heartfelt thank you. Your words can inspire and uplift others. #memorialday2024 #Gratitude #Rememberance #TransformYourBrainOneThoughtAtATime

If you are in need of an architectural firm to renovate your Church, your chapel, to design new sacred furnishing, sacred art, etc., then I highly recommend the work of Michael Raia and Studio io (Instaurare Omnia, LLC). They have an understanding of the importance of beauty within sacred artwork and architecture that highlights the beauty of worship. On the relationship between beauty and liturgy, Benedict XVI writes: Like the rest of Christian Revelation, the liturgy is inherently linked to beauty: it is veritatis splendor. The liturgy is a radiant expression of the paschal mystery, in which Christ draws us to himself and calls us to communion...The beauty of the liturgy is part of this mystery; it is a sublime expression of God's glory and, in a certain sense, a glimpse of heaven on earth... Beauty, then, is not mere decoration, but rather an essential element of the liturgical action, since it is an attribute of God himself and his revelation. These considerations should make us realize the care which is needed, if the liturgical action is to reflect its innate splendor (Sacramentum Caritatis, no. 35).

Happy Easter! As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us remember the profound significance of Christ's sacrifice and resurrection. Absolutely, the concept of sacrifice, rooted in love and selflessness, is indeed a central theme in many holy scriptures and spiritual teachings. Each of us possesses unique talents, skills, and blessings that can be used to uplift and improve our communities, no matter how seemingly small they may be. It's natural to question why we should make sacrifices, especially when it seems like others haven't done the same for us, or when we believe that the government should be responsible for addressing societal needs. However, the essence of sacrifice lies in our willingness to contribute to the greater good, regardless of external factors or expectations. Take the inspiring example of Martin Luther King Jr. (thanks to the The Kectil Program initiative of The Malmar Knowles Family Foundation for this insight), who selflessly dedicated his life to fighting for equality and justice. Despite facing immense challenges and personal sacrifices, his unwavering commitment to his community and his cause left an indelible impact on society, reminding us of the power of sacrifice in creating positive change. Irrespective of how he died his family never gave up on selflessness. Ultimately, the essence of living lies in our ability to love, serve, and uplift others, even in the face of adversity. By embracing the spirit of sacrifice, we not only make our communities better places to live but also demonstrate our capacity for empathy, compassion, and selflessness. In doing so, we honor the legacy of those who came before us and pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future for all. You’re a leader, so am i. Let’s lead the world to be a better place. May the spirit of Easter remind us of the incredible love and redemption that Christ offers, paying our debts and setting us free. Let us rejoice in the hope and renewal that Easter brings, knowing that through Christ, we have been given new life and endless possibilities. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Easter filled with faith, love, and joy! #Easter #Leadership #Socialwork #SDG #PublicAdministration #Career #innovative

How do we cultivate our gratitude toward God? We must begin with gratitude for our salvation. God loves us despite our sinfulness and continues to love in Christ despite our inability to live a perfect life. When we realise how far we have fallen from God’s righteousness, this realisation may stir up our gratitude for our salvation. To love God more, you must realise how sinful you were before Christ and still do not measure up to God’s righteousness in your earthly life in Christ. During this festive season, we celebrate the birth of Christ. God sent Him on earth to sort out the mess. God looked at the world and His people, and realized that He had to intervene. He had to do something. He was deliberate and intentional about it. The mess was not going to sort itself out. One of the major lessons that I have learned over the years is that things do not just happen, people make things happen. I learned that if I do nothing, chances are that nothing will happen. I have learned that behind every major goal and achievement, there was great planning and sacrifice. Someone gave up something. I have learned that in life one needs to give up in order to gain something. Giving up is not always easy. Never misunderstand the message that says, "Never give up". In my leadership journey I keep asking myself what it is that I am prepared to give up in order to go up. It is a challenging question when we realize that we were told "all or none". You have goals, dreams, and ambition. How much do you want them? What is it that you are intentional and deliberate about? What are you willing and prepared to give up? What is it that you are actually going to give up?
