He visits them every week and ask them the same question KUCH AANA HAI. In most of the cases the answer is NAHI. Let’s not expect that in the 5-7min of his visit which is not informed in advance the retail store owner/manager can remember where he is from and what all he sells. A decent store gets 15 executives from different companies in a day. Executive moves on to the next outlet. This keeps on happening week after week. He is happy with two orders a day (this is bare minimum required to save his job) This gentleman has little knowledge or update about new launch / prevailing scheme for retail store offered by company He will also not educate the retailor about the USP of the product he is selling, he might be not knowing himself only There is a possibility that he is even not carrying the latest product catalog forget the samples Companies feels the sales are not upto the mark Realty is the retail business in above said category is just doing great , consumption is just great and growing There is no competition as fas as offline and online goes There is enough space for every model We need trained people who understand the pulse of the market to sell. Each one had different ideas and thoughts and apply sales pressures but not harshly, GENTLY by using idioms and phrases. Some of them I am sharing it with you all in order to take everything positively. 1. What goes around, comes around. ( It means here in Sales, if you give hard work, results would come ) 2. Time and tide waits for none. ( It means here, you and me have the same time here in this world. So, don't waste time. ) 3. My tyres are getting worn out. ( Means, you're wasting your time and the manager's time. ) 4. When I had made a sales call, met a prospect who said that MD has not come to office as his daughter got matured.
