'Imagine a world where every message, every campaign, resonates harmoniously with your purpose. A world where competing team objectives are not barriers, but rather catalysts for unified action' Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences of integration in the charity sector with Charley Day-Lennon and I for The Kite Factory's latest white paper. So much has been written about WHY to align across silos - but not so much on the HOW - so we've laid out the steps to follow - no matter where your organisation is on the integration spectrum! https://lnkd.in/ecG3der6

Grateful to serve the grantees of the Simons Foundation yesterday and got to catch up with friends Brooke Richie-Babbage, molly delano, and Becky Endicott, CFRE! My roundtable was about Demystifying Money...you know I'm all about talking about the money, honey! Some powerful takeaways: 1) We all have money baggage and trauma no matter who you are, how much you had (or didn't) and it takes conscious, intentional effort to recognize and shift the thought patterns. 2) Your self-worth should not be tied to outcomes. Whether you get the gift or not is ultimately not up to you. Regardless, you are worthy. 3) Fundraising is like creating art. You are not going to be for everybody, so find your people and help them be part of something greater than themselves. 4) Money is energy. We are but the vessels through which it flows so we need to be conscious of the blocks that we construct that restrict the flow. 5) Change starts with our identities and our decision to BE the kind of person who embraces fundraising. Thanks so much to Whitney Gaskins PhD, CDP, Jenny Quinn, Steven Melendez, Kyle Marian Viterbo, Jennifer Brooks, Robert Fernandez, Ran Yan

Great way to start the day with X-Caliber Rural Capital/ X-Caliber / CastleGreen Finance
We kicked off day two of our annual Huddle with a bridge walk across the Mario Cuomo bridge. This year’s theme is Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers. Several of the team laced up their walking shoes to support Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that helps families build a place to call home. One of X-Caliber ‘s core pillars and commitments is affordable housing and we are pleased and proud to support this cause. It was a beautiful walk and a great way to start our day together. Congrats team on making your goal! Chris Callahan Sharon Callahan Bonnie Habyan Jordan Blanchard Gregg Delany Alison D'Elia, SHRM-CP Michele Epple Amber Howard Carin Gutchall (Chuvala) Anna West

If you hire interns through our programme and you're not a Community Member... ask yourself, why not? We are a charity. Like so many other incredible initiatives on a mission to build a better world, we rely on funding to support what we do. We also happen to work with corporates... Over 1,000 organisations have been through our programme since 2020 Only 13% of those organisations have ever donated to support our mission. Our groundbreaking internship programmes are free to use at the point of use! As is all of our training, events, and alumni programming (for students AND organisations) Why? Because the issue of underrepresentation is a social change issue We believe in people. We believe they will make this change. And we believe this will take everyone! That means everyone needs to be able to engage From the smallest SMEs with no HR department hiring incredible Black talent and changing their organisations to the students that need our financial support to travel to their interviews, to the training for all those who weren't successful in securing an internship this year... To all our organisations welcoming interns this summer: this IS your Corporate Social Responsibility. DM me !! (and read about our amazing community members below) Community memberships is just £2,500 pa
