The past 2 weeks have been a wild ride… 13 to 15yr old me who used to do public speaking in high school in Zimbabwe would be proud! At North America’s largest tech conference — Collision Conf, I had the privilege of moderating a panel in the Black Innovation Zone with inspiring women on "Black Women In Leadership: Being Successful in Business and the Importance of Your Network.” Prior to this, I had the honour of being the host for an evening of “Catalyzing Positive Change: The Power of Black Women Leadership” with some remarkable, noteable, and impactful women such as Jully Black and The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean. Central theme — there’s an innate power in storytelling and how our unique life journeys and experiences shape our paths. It's a poignant reminder that y(our) stories matter and by sharing YOUR story it may inspire and empower someone! This experience was not only professionally enriching but also personally significant. The Will of God has never taken me where His grace did not follow! Thank you to everyone who participated and to those who continue to create space for others to shine! Thank you to the BlackNorth Initiative team for trusting me to step up to the mic! Let's continue to share our stories, build our communities, and pave the way for future generations. #CollisionConf #BlackInnovationZone #Collision2024 #BlackWomenInLeadership #Networking #Storytelling #Community #PublicSpeaking #ShareYourStory #AfricaToTheWorld
