Data protection is globally lacking enforcement. And I am not necessatalking fines but enforcement. Not sure the new ICO thread of simple reprimand does much effect. How often DPAs go back to control their guidance have been applied? I know of one instance when the CNIL ordered to delete data unlawfully collected. ECJ confirmed DPAs have such a power. Why don’t they apply it ? https://lnkd.in/e_ttXFpZ
