What standout themes do we expect to see at Pharmapack this year? Here's my prediction: 🌍 Sustainability How we can reduce the impact of future devices through more sustainable design principles, adopting more sustainable materials, and anticipating takeback and recycling at end of life. We expect reusable designs to feature heavily. But can the reusable devices of the future be as straightforward and intuitive for users as the single-use devices of today? 🙋♀️ Usability. As treatments move from the hospital to home, there's an increasing need to accommodate therapies with more complex handling and dose preparation steps. We expect to see more devices designed for patients to simplify the administration of these complex drugs. But how robust will these platforms be to variations in the therapy being delivered? 🚀 Scalability. There's a need for delivery solutions that can robustly scale to 100s millions of doses. But with time-to-market critical, which platform architectures can best adapt to varying volumes, formulation properties and primary packs, and ultimately get therapies to patients fastest?
