Vogue Business is looking at the state of the «Next-Gen» Material Industry. Many brands show ambitions but fail when it comes to real commitment. Why? It's about the rules of the game - those need to change. The cost of materials must equal the price, which is clearly not the case today. Real costs are pushed onto next generations, which is more than unfair towards A) our kids and B) responsibly sourced - and therefore more expensive - material alternatives. Once those outlines change, the material revolution will be like a tsunami. Policy makers must initiate this change, and create a framework for the future. Brilliant article, thank you Hannes for sharing 🙌, we are working on technology solutions to scale biomaterial manufacturing at Invntz™ and help all collaborators involved to build long term profitable enterprises. Indeed the rules of the game need to change, be more accessible and supportive for all involved along the value chain. 🌎
